The gold seam running across the surface of the ring represents the kind of mineral seam seen on the ancient monoliths scattered throughout Cornwall. Mineral seams are one of the most abundant, but beautiful geological features. It’s a gentle reminder of the beauty of our natural environment that we so often overlook in our busy modern lives.
The rings are beautifully textured using Lucy’s grandad’s old workshop hammers in a similar way to which ancient peoples would have hammered and shaped the monolith standing stones. The hammer marks provide a hand-finished quality to the jewellery, giving texture and light to the surface.
Hand-crafted contemporary organic jewellery for people who love wild places. Inspired by and made in Cornwall.
